Where did Wednesday Go

Wednesday didn’t go anywhere but you may be wondering why there wasn’t a podcast distributed via this blog as we’ve done for the past couple of years.
I recently took on a new role as Executive Director of a children’s charity in Toronto that provided computers and Internet access to financially disadvanteaged youth. The marquee program is called Kids, Cops & Computers and when the grade seven students receive the computer they also are matched up with an “e-buddy” from the Toronto Police Services. Then each commits to email the other at least once a week. The intent is to bridge the ‘digital divide’ and to introduce another responsible adult into their life who can act as a mentor. I am very excited about the opportunity and look forward to growing the organization and the number of computers distributed each year.
As a result of the above I am scaling back my involvement with Salesopedia. Our dedicated team will continue to bring you a twice weekly newsletter with podcasts on alternate Wednesdays. We will continue to refresh the site homepage weekly to present the topical and timely content you have come to expect.
