It’s not often we get to see the Prime Minister of Canada perform … or have fun. Most heads of state tend to constantly portray an air of extreme seriousness as if someone once told them, “we won’t vote for you if you don’t look and sound serious … all the time.”
Perhaps Stephen Harper has been looking south and seeing his buddy Barack Obama having fund visiting with Jay Leno and David Letterman. Maybe it is ok to show the world you are human … and even have a little talent!
In any event I give Mr. Harper full credit for his recent surprise appearance at the National Arts Centre to sing the Beatles’ hit with famed cellist Yo Yo Ma. He proves you can get by with a little help from your friends!
