Odiogo Rocks!

Posted on Tuesday 4 December 2007

Odiogo Logo I must confess I like “neat things that work.” You might have noticed a rather large visual to the left of this text. You will also notice a much smaller “listen now” button at the top of this post. This is compliments of a new bit of technology wizardry from Odiogo. It fits nicely into the gizmos and gadgets must have category.
My plan is to be the hero to all of us attention deficit salespeople out there who are easily distracted and also like to choose the path of least resistance. Now you don’t have to read my posts … you can listen to them … with surprising clarity and accuracy of enunciation which I hope you agree is very cool.
If you are interested in getting this technology for your website you can check it out at www.odiogo.com the best part, it’s FREE! I have to compliment their support team as well. When we installed this yesterday “Salesopedia” was being mispronounced – no I wasn’t looking for a Canadian inflection eh! I sent a request at 11:28 pm last night asking if we could ‘train’ Odiogo to say Salesopedia correctly. By 10:30 this morning, they had adjusted the phonetics and we were in business. The support team also advised they are working on the next release that will allow users to set their own definitions through a phonetic selection on the Odiogo site. In response to another question I had, they indicate they are developing a tag, available in the new year that will allow one to exclude the listen now button in a particular post or article should you wish.
Now all I want to do is see the automated Odiogo voice reach around and pat itself on the back for a job well done.
Ha ha. Very funny Clayton I can not do that … yet. Have a great day Salesopedia readers from Odiogo! I like to get around so add me to your site too. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this information Clayton. I had previously used Talkr but was not entirely pleased with it. Adiogo’s speech is both cleaner and more articulate… more human. I also like their feed choices. I have registered and installed it on Idea Sellers. Thanks again for the tip!

My pleasure Dan … now if I could just Odiogo to write my posts …
